The extension popup open over a news site, offering three capture modes: Full page, Select element, and Select area

Three ways to capture

Pick the mode that matches what you actually need out of the page.

Capture the full page

Save a standard scrolling webpage from top to bottom as one PNG.

Select one element

Hover, click, and isolate a card, article, panel, hero section, or other HTML element.

Draw an area

Drag around any visible region when you need a quick, precise crop.

How it works

Three steps, no setup, no account.

  1. Choose a capture mode

Open the toolbar popup and choose Full page, Select element, or Select area.

  2. Let the extension capture

For scrolling captures, keep the source tab active while it moves through the page and stitches the tiles.

  3. Preview and export

Review the PNG, copy it to the clipboard, or download it to the device.

One clean screenshot. Top to bottom.

A full-page capture scrolls the page, grabs one viewport tile at a time, and stitches the tiles into a single PNG. While it stitches, it tries to suppress the fixed and sticky elements that would otherwise reappear in every tile: floating navigation, cookie banners, chat bubbles, back-to-top buttons.

Sites build those elements in different ways, so treat it as a strong default rather than a guarantee. When a layout fights the stitcher, Select element or Select area will still give you a clean crop.

Capture only what matters

Select element reads the page structure instead of guessing at pixels. Hover to highlight the element under your cursor, click to lock it in, and the capture is cropped to that element's real boundaries. If the element runs past the bottom of the viewport, it still comes out in one piece.

Select area works the other way around. Drag a rectangle over anything currently on screen and take exactly that.

Your screenshots stay on your device

Capturing, stitching, previewing, and exporting all run inside the extension in Chrome.

  • No extension account to create or sign in to.
  • No screenshot uploads to Weddle Media or a third party.
  • No advertising and no third-party analytics inside the extension.
  • The page is only read while a capture is running, never in the background.

Common questions

Install the extension, open the page you want, click the toolbar icon, and choose Full page. The extension scrolls the page, captures each viewport tile, and stitches the tiles into one PNG. Keep the source tab active while it works, then preview the result and copy or download it.

Yes. Choose Select element and hover over the page. The extension highlights the element under your cursor, and clicking it captures that element only. It also handles elements that run past the bottom of the viewport, so a long article or a tall panel comes out in one piece.

Yes. Choose Select area and drag a rectangle around any visible region. The extension captures that region and nothing else, which is the quickest way to crop something already on screen.

The extension attempts to suppress fixed and sticky elements while it stitches a scrolling capture, so a floating header or cookie bar should not reappear on every tile. Page layouts vary, so the result depends on how a given site is built.

No. Capturing, stitching, previewing, and exporting all happen locally inside Chrome. Screenshots are not uploaded to Weddle Media or to a third party.

Long pages are captured at full length whenever the browser can handle it. When a capture would exceed canvas or memory limits, the extension scales the image down instead of failing. Infinite-scroll pages are captured to the length measured at the moment the capture begins.

Yes. It is free, with no account, no subscription, and no paid tier.

Launch status

Version 1.0.0 is finished and submitted to the Chrome Web Store. The public listing is not live yet, so there is no install link to give you today. This page will carry the real install button the moment Google publishes it.

In the meantime, the extension privacy policy covers exactly what it handles, and our other Chrome extensions are already available.
